Two first half goals from Cathal Finnegan proved crucial as Seneschalstown defeated Ballinabrackey in the ACFL Division 2 game played in ideal conditions at Ballinabrackey. Brendan Lynch, Bryan Clarke, Brian Sheridan, Finnegan and Niall Hickey chipped in with points as the home side led a the break 2-7 to 0-4
Ballinabrackey found their shooting boots in the second half as they scored 1-07 but fine scores from Finnegan, Sheridan, Robbie Wogan, Clarke and Ryan O'Dowd were enough to give Seneschalstown a comfortable victory.
