Joint Mayo under-21 manager Pat Holmes has admitted that the All-Ireland champions have a number of injury concerns ahead of their Connacht semi final clash against old rivals Galway.
Holmes revealed that he and fellow manager Noel Connelly will look at the fitness of the players concerned before making a decision on picking the team.
"For us it will be a case of assessing whether any of them will be fit enough to last the whole game and that decision will frame whether we decide to start them or not," said Holmes.
Mayo have concerns over the fitness of Chris Barrett, Seamus O'Shea and Aidan Campbell, although Barrett will take his place in the squad having recovered from a broken ankle.
