Dillon back on treatment table

Mayo's Alan Dillon. INPHO
Alan Dillon has emerged as an injury concern for Mayo ahead of their Connacht SFC final against the winners of Leitrim and London.

The All Star forward watched from the sidelines as Ballintubber got the better over Shrule Glencorrib in the Mayo SFC over the weekend.

The Irish Daily Star reports that he is still troubled by the groin complain that limited him to just 10 minutes of action during the FL Division 1 campaign.

Dillon's clubmate Cillian O'Connor was also a spectator after dislocating his right shoulder during a club game last month and the 'Young Footballer of the Year' is being monitored on a week-to-week basis by Mayo medical personnel.

Mickey Conroy (shoulder), Keith Higgins (hamstring) and David Clarke (hamstring) also missed out on club duty but the latter two are expected to be okay in time for the provincial decider on July 21.

Better news for James Horan is that Andy Moran came through his came with Ballaghaderreen unscathed while Barry Moran made an appearance for Castlebar Mitchels.
