James Horan is hoping Mayo can bounce back from yesterday's nine-point loss to Monaghan against Kerry next Saturday.

With just three points from the first four rounds, the Westerners' 21-year stay in Division 1 of the Allianz Football League is under threat, but the Mayo manager isn't panicking yet.

"We are looking at winning games, we are looking at playing well and we haven't played well yet and we want to try and get a good performance," he told the Irish Daily Star.

"Luckily with the league, you get a chance fairly quickly and we have Kerry coming to town (Castlebar) next weekend.

"You have to move on straight away and try and fix a few things and play next Saturday night."
