Championship: We had another great result on Friday night in Dowdallshill against the Young Irelands when we won by three points. It was a very tense hard fought game and the result was in doubt right up to the last couple of minutes. But the lads pulled through and we now are in the quarter finals after topping our group. The quarter finals are an open draw and all the teams that qualify will not be known until the end of next weekend. So fingers crossed for a favourable draw and a chance to advance further in the championship, other teams in the hat so far along with us are Mattock Rangers, St. Brides and Hunterstown Rovers.

Minor: The underage championships draws were made recently and our minor team are in the B championship group 1 along with St. Josephs, Clan Na Gael, Young Irelands and Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire. Our under 16's are in the B championship group 1 along with St. Nicholas, St. Brides, Glen Emmets and Oliver Plunketts/Wolfe Tones. Our under 14's are in the A championship group 3 along with Dundalk Gaels, Kilkerley/N.Malachi, O'Mahonys/Piarsaigh/Dowdallshill.
Courses: There is a Code of Ethics course in the Dreadnots clubrooms on Wednesday 19th of July followed by a Foundation in the same venue on Saturday 22nd. Places must be reserved by emailing [email protected]. Please note that the Code of Ethics must be completed before the Foundation award. Times are as follows, Code of Ethics Dreadnots - 7pm-10pm, Foundation Dreadnots - 10am-3.30pm.
Draws: The draws for the senior, intermediate and junior championship quarter finals and semi-finals will be made in our clubrooms on Sunday evening after the football championship double header that begins at 5.00pm. The draws will also be broadcast live on LMFM radio.
Slimming World: Slimming World will be in our clubrooms every Monday from 7.00pm with consultant Sharon 086-1631310.
