Louth: Congratulations to O’Connells player Niall Conlon who is part of the Louth Senior team at the moment.

Awards: Some of the awards which were giving at the Christmas party were: senior player of the year Salem Rifaie: Division 6 player of the year Sean Connolly: Up and coming player Kyle Daniels: Club worker of the year Sean Mulligan, congratulations to all.

 

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 9th January at 8.00pm, jackpot €1,500 in 48 numbers.

Louth: Louth GAA are now looking for this years Scor Simsir competition for over 17’s. If any clubs are interested in taking part or require moer information please contact through e-mail the [email protected] or by phone at 087-9709715. There are seven categories in the competition: Figure ceili dancing, Solo singing, Recitation/Storytelling, Ballad Group, Stage Presentation, Instrumental Music & Set Dancing. Dates and venue for the Louth final will be confirmed based on the number of entrants and will be aiming for mid-February. Closing date fro applications will be Thursday 17th January at 5pm.

 

Louth: The Louth Coaching & Games Conference 2019 will take place on Saturday 19th January in the Louth Centre of Excellence. Tickets are now on sale for this event and all lCoaches on the day will be Peter Donnelly two times All-Ireland winner with Tyrone from 9.30am to 10.30am on intergration of physical fitness in adult & youth training sessions. Paul Earley former manager of the Irish international rules team from 10.45am to 11.45am a talk on the concept of leadership in a team structure. Johnny Doyle former Kildare footballer from 12.30pm to 1.30pm on modern attacking stratergies. For more information contact Colm Nally or Francie McMullen.
