Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto is on a holiday break.  Next draw is on Wednesday 15th August.  

 

Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. are hosting a Kellogs GAA Cúl Football and Hurling Camp again this year TOMORROW from Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August.  Online bookings available at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie

 

Our Junior team have the last game of the Division 5 League campaign v Kilkerley Emmets on Tuesday 7th August in Kilkerley at 7.30pm.  Our Intermediate team play the last game of the Division 2 League campaign v O'Connells on Sunday 12th August at John Markey Park, Ballygassan time to be confirmed.  The lads will then  play Cooley Kickhams in the Quarter Final of the Intermediate Championship at 3:30pm on Sunday 26th August at Pairc Naomh Brid, Dowdallshill.  

 

Well done to Louth ladies on a comprehensive win over Kilkenny yesterday 6-24 to 1-6. Louth play London in the next group game in two weeks.  Naomh Fionnbarra are represented by Leanne Sharkey, Shauna Markey, Roisin Osborne and Deirbhile Osborne. Well done girls.

 

Droghedal handballer Ben Devlin is due to compete in the Handball world championships in Arizona next month and his club mates in the O'Raghallaighs Handball Club  are organising a table quiz to raise funds to help him on his way.  Ben recently won the senior Leinster one wall title and will travel to America early next month to participate in the Handball World Championships in Arizona.  The 18 year-old will compete in four separate grades, under 19 and under 23 one wall singles grades and under 19 40x20 singles and doubles.

Ben has won many club competitions throughout the country and has several provincial titles in different codes and also has an All-Ireland medal to boast of.
