Longford have received a boots ahead of the Leinster SFC after captain Paul Barden returned to action.

The experienced forward has been sidelined through injury since the first game of the league, but has made a full recovery.

Barden's return is a timely boost for the Midlanders who face Wicklow in the Leinster SFC on Sunday next, May 26th.

The Clonguish forward scored three points in a 1-16 to 1-11 win over Offaly last weekend, before he was withdrawn from the action in the 29th minute. Tweet
