At the recent executive meeting an update was given on the pitch works which are ongoing to improve the playing surface of McGee park. These have been delayed somewhat with the delayed onset of spring conditions but they will continue throughout the coming months. The proceeds from our 100 club tickets are being put towards this work. The last remaining tickets are available from any member of the executive and the draw date for €500 prize will be announced shortly. All subscribers gain entry to a draw for All Ireland Final tickets as well as club membership for the year. The executive discussed plans for annual fundraising events to take place later in the year. Details to follow. We currently have a draw for VIP tickets to see Bon Jovi at Slane Castle on June 15th. Raffle lines cost €2 each and cards are avaialble in local shops and from members of the executive. It is great to see the continued high numbers of young players and volunteer coaches for our underage grades. Thanks to all the parents and players who contribute their time.
