BALLYMAHON
Tickets are now on sale for our All-Ireland Football Final Ticket Draw, and are available from any member of the executive. Tickets cost e5 each or you can buy three tickets for e10. The sought after first prize is two tickets to this years football final between Cork and Down, in Croke Park on 19th September. The second prize consists of one nights accomodation for two people with full Irish breakfast in any of the six Moran/Bewleys Hotels, and all your support for this draw is appreciated. Hard luck to the Longford ladies who lost out to Donegal at the weekend, it was heartbreaking to have to fall at this hurdle once again, but we surely are not far off success at this level. Well done to Ambrose McGowan for all his work with the team. There was no
winner of last weeks Draw held in Kiernan's worth e6100. Last Monday's Draw was held in Skelly's with the Jackpot worth e6200 and the Promoters Prize worth e620. Tickets
costing
€2 are available from the usual outlets, or you can buy three for €5.

Finally, it was great to see the pitch looking so well on national television, TG4 on Saturday and again on the Sunday Game on RTE, and indeed a great honour for our club to be picked as the venue for the second successive year to hold the national ladies semi finals, which says alot about how we are perceived. Sincere thanks to everybody who worked so hard in many different capacities to make the event a success, but special thanks are reserved for Seamus Lennon, Paul Kelly and Albert Fallon who did trojan work behind the scenes. Hopefully we can encourage more of the club spirit that was evident in the run up to last Saturday and we look forward to hosting more big events in the future.
