Sympathy: Dromard GAA offers its sympathy to the Cox family on the death of Colette Cox, Teemore, Co. Fermanagh.

National Football League: Congratulations to the Longford senior footballers on making a great start to their league campaign with a three-point win over Louth on Sunday. Well done to Joseph Hagan and to the rest of the players and management team including Danny O’Toole. Best of luck to all involved in their next game against Offaly on Sunday in Tullamore. Throw in at 2pm. 

U20 Final: Commiserations to the Longford U20 footballers on their defeat to a very strong Monaghan side in the final of the Philly McGuinness Cup played in Mohill on Saturday. Dromard has four representatives on the panel: Joseph Hagan, Aaron Farrell, Ollie Duffy and Conor McGauran. Well done on reaching the final and best of luck for the remainder of the year. 

Senior Citizens Party: Dromard senior citizens party will take place on Sunday February 9th at 2pm in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arvagh. All senior citizen in the parish are welcome to attend. 

St Francis Minor Club: The AGM of the minor club will be held on Sunday 2nd February at 8pm in the Clubhouse. 

Club Longford: Longford GAA has launched a new supporters club under the banner of Club Longford. The aim of Club Longford is to provide new financial resources to support the training and preparation of our county teams. You can become a member of Club Longford for just €40 by signing up online at clublongford.ie. Businesses can sign up for Corporate Membership which entitles you to a range of benefits including a pitchside sign at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park. Full details are available on the website.

Dromard Healthy Clubs: Circuit training for all levels is underway for 2020. Classes take place on Saturday mornings at 8.30 and are a great way to start getting fit again.
