Go dtuga Dia suaimhneas síoraí dóibh go léir.

O'Byrne Cup: Well done to the Longford Senior Footballers on their performance against Meath in Páirc Tailteann on Sunday. Although eventually losing out in the unusual circumstances of a free-kick competition, the Longford team put in a very good performance during the game. Dromard's Ronan McEntire started the match at wing forward and had a fine game. If the level of performance of recent weeks is maintained, Longford can look forward with confidence to their Division 3 campaign which starts on Sunday week in Tullamore. Best of luck to the players and to Denis Connerton and Dromard's Enda Macken, Danny O'Toole and Alan McLoughlin with their preparations for the National League.

Thank You Message: Sean T. and Anne Donohoe, Aughamore Lower, would like to thank all who contributed to the recent table quiz in aid of The Patient Comfort Fund, Oncology Unit at Cavan General Hospital. A special word of thanks to all who sponsored a round of questions, all who donated spot prizes, attended on the night and gave donations. Thank you to all who helped on the night and to Eamon and Philomena Gray, Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva for the use of their premises.
