Cork and Kilkenny do battle in Croker in the All-Ireland SHC quarterfinal and Donegal host Meath in Ballybofey in the Super 8's.

The first two of our games throw in under five minutes time.

There are four fascinating games on offer today and with the sun beating down on the grounds concerned, we are set for one of those special days in the GAA. We'll be back later with some team news.

Down in Killarney, Kerry host Mayo in what could well be the game of the weekend. The Kingdom are looking to preserve a 24-year record of being beaten in the championship at home, but they face a stern test from a Mayo side that are improving with each outing.

The opening rounds of the Super 8's conclude with two more games this afternoon. Having been the last team to reach the last eight, Meath head to Ballybofey to face Ulster champions Donegal. The sides are very familiar with each other in recent years and not much has separated them.

Croke Part hosts the meeting of Tipperary and Laois as well as Cork v. Kilkenny as the sides battle it out for a place in the All-Ireland SHC semi-finals as Limerick and Wexford await the winners of today's intriguing contests.
