Hurlers welcome back U21 medallists
June 30, 2006
All-Ireland U21 HC winners Eoin Foley and Paudie O'Dwyer have been restored to the Limerick senior hurling panel.
Both men will be on the bench for the crucial qualifier against Offaly at Tullamore on Saturday July 1.
Foley from Patrickswell hasn't played for the county at senior level since a substitute appearance in the 2003 All-Ireland qualifier defeat to Offaly at Semple Stadium, while Kilmallock's O'Dwyer was on the squad last year.
Wayne McNamara from Adare, a current county U21, has also been drafted into the senior panel as Limerick pull out all the stops to get their floundering season back on track.
