The Late Paddy Randles The death occurred after a short illness on March 30 of Paddy Randles formerly of the Railway Road, Kilmallock. Sympathy of the community to his five sisters. Paddy lived in England for many years before returning home to Kilmallock in the early 1980s. Treasurer of the Kilmallock GAA Club for the past five years, Paddy was a life-long supporter of the Club with which he played hurling for in the late 1940s and 1950s. Paddy was an outstanding community worker, serving on many of the Kilmallock Credit Union Ltd Committees as well as the Kilmallock Cemetery Committee. His father, the late Cornelius Randles was principal of Kilmallock Boys National School up to his retirement in 1960. A guard of honour was formed by members of the Kilmallock GAA Club and members of the Credit Union Committee at his funeral. Kilmallock GAA Club Chairman, Michael Fitzgerald, gave on oration at the graveside. Paddy is survived by his five sisters. Courtesy of the Limerick Leader April 2005
