The Late Eamon Sweeney The death has taken place of Eamon Sweeney, 3 Woodgrove, Moyvane. His remains were removed to Moyvane Church, he was buried in Ahavoher Cemetery following Requiem Mass. Eamon was born in Carrueragh, Knockanure 82 years ago. He was Postman in Moyvane from the 1960's until he suffered from poor health. He played football with Knockanure, Duagh and won medals with Castleisland. There was a guard of honour at his funeral by the Moyvane GAA, the local branch of Fine Gael and the Knockanure GAA. He is survived by his wife Margaret, sons Pat (Athea), Eamon (Glin), John (Listowel) and Gene, Breda, Paschal (Moyvane), brother Jimmy, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
