Limerick manager TJ Ryan has told his players that they must 'regroup' ahead of the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers.

Ryan and his charges head for Cusack Park, Mullingar on Saturday evening where they will take on the home side Westmeath.

The sides will meet for the second time in 12 months as a late surge helped the Shannonsiders to victory on that occasion.

Following their defeat to Tipperary in Munster SHC semi-final, Ryan has had the task of lifting the players for the qualifying campaign.

"We have to regroup," Ryan told the Limerick Leader. "We have to dust ourselves down, train hard and go again.

"The effort these guys put in is huge over the last number of months to get themselves into shape."
