Minor Hurlers

Congratulations to our minor hurlers who qualified for the county final following a comprehensive victory over Kilmallock in the Gaelic Grounds on Saturday.

Having had to wait several weeks to finally see action it was a welcome return to the playing fields.

We began the game very brightly and had scores on the board from Ronan Lynch and Peter Casey along with Conor Houlihan and Kieran Daly to surge into an early lead.

Our defence was well on top with Robbie Graham and Jerome Boylan particularly dominant on either wing and David Broderick in the corner.

We slowly and steadily increased our lead and led at the break by 10 points 0-14 to 0-4.

We continued our dominance in the second half with further points from Peter Casey and Ronan Lynch along with a well taken goal from Marcus McManemy following a great block by Thomas Grimes.
