The club were delighted to welcome former World Snooker Champion Ken Doherty to the Cu Chulainn.
Junior A footballers: The Junior A footballers opened their City League campaign with a 0-13 to 1-3 defeat by Na Piarsaigh. Their upcoming fixtures are away to Ballybrown on Monday May 20 at 7pm and home to Mungret on Monday 27 May at 7pm.
Junior A hurlers: The Junior A hurlers reached the City League semi-final after a comprehensive 2-21 to 0-15 victory over Kildimo-Pallaskenry. The semi-final is scheduled for Sunday May 26 at 6pm.
Féile 2013 Church Gate Collection: Limerick is hosting the National Féile finals this year. Patrickswell juvenile & camogie clubs will be holding a church gate collection to help defray costs for our u-14 hurling and camogie teams. The collection will be held in Patrickswell on the weekend of May 25th and 26th. Your support will be much appreciated.
U-14 hurlers: The U-14 hurlers start their championship campaign with a visit to Monaleen on Wednesday May 29 at 7pm.
U-10 hurlers: The U-10 hurlers are playing a blitz in Ahane on Friday May 24.
Camogie: The U-14 girls staged a formidable second-half comeback against Bruff in terrible weather conditions to win their League quarter-final by 3-04 to 2-03. The semi-final against Newcastlewest will be played at home on Tuesday May 21 at 6.30pm.
The U-12 girls travelled to Newcastlewest over the weekend to play in the last blitz before the League. The first league match is against Crecora on Thursday May 23 at 6.30pm.
Congratulations to Sarah Gillane, who will represent Patrickswell in the Primary Games on June 9.
U-6 and U-8 training continues every Friday.
Visit from Liam O'Neill: The President of the GAA, Liam O'Neill, is visiting Patrickswell GAA Club on Tuesday May 21between 7-9pm. Please come along to welcome Liam. There will be matches on the pitch for entertainment.
Ken Doherty's visit: The club were delighted to welcome former World Snooker Champion Ken Doherty to the Cu Chulainn. Ken faced tough opposition from many of the 'Well's finest pool players. It was a fantastic evening of skill, entertainment, good humour and story-telling.
Afternoon Tea Dance: Many thanks to everyone who attended the Afternoon Tea Dance on Sunday. We are grateful for your continued assistance.
