The death of Kathleen McDonagh, Caherdavin Limerick took place. She was a highly respected member of the Kiely family from Spittle.
The Kiely families were known in the century for their involvement with the GAA. She was daughter of the late Con Kiely, better known to his friends of that era as 'Neillie'. Con had the distinction of playing in the All Ireland junior championship for his county as far back as the 1917 era.
Following Requiem Mass in Limerick, interment took place in the family plot in Ballylanders. She is sadly missed by her son Con, brothers Pakie and Ned, nephew, nieces, relatives and friends. (Ballylanders).
