Limerick make 10 changes

April 24, 2003
Limerick manager Dave Keane has opted to give several fringe players the opportunity to impress in the National Hurling League Div. 1 game against Dublin this Sunday, April 27. He has made no fewer than 10 changes from the side that defeated Laois on Easter Monday. The only players to hold onto their places from that game are the Moran brothers, Ollie and Niall, Donnacha Sheehan, Paudie O'Dwyer and TJ Ryan. Stephen Lucey will make his first start of the league at centre-back and Patrick Kirby will play at right corner-forward at day after assisting St. Colman's, Fermoy, in the All-Ireland Colleges final. Limerick (SH v Dublin) - D. Bulfin; S. McDonagh, TJ Ryan, M. Cahill; P. O'Dwyer, SLucey, Maurice O'Brien; J. Meskill, R. Hayes; Michael O'Brien, N. Moran, J. O'Brien; P. Kirby, O. Moran, S. Sheehan.
