Amalgamation side Emmetts have booked their passage to compete in the 2010 Limerick SHC.

Last year's senior county semi-finalists confirmed their participation in the blue riband competition again this year when defeating Western Gaels by 1-15 to 0-8 in the inter-divisional decider at Claughaun on Sunday last, March 6.

Representing the South Board's junior and intermediate clubs, Emmetts used their experience of '09 to retain the inter-divisional title.

Hospital-Herbertstown's Donie Reale (0-5) was top scorer for the Emmetts, who also draw players from Effin, Dromin-Athlacca, Blackrock, Staker Wallaces, Glenroe and Castletown-Ballyagran. Tweet
