Junior-B Hurling All-Ireland Final next Sunday.
There can be no doubt that Sunday is a red-letter day in the history of the club as our Junior Hurlers attempt to create history and bring an All-Ireland title to the club for the first time. The club and team has been inundated with messages of best-wishes from all quarters and hopefully the lads can go out on Sunday and win the title. A large support is expected in Raheehagh from both sides, so travel early to secure the best spots to cheer on the boys. All of the parish and beyond is behind this team and everyone in the club would like to wish the lads well next weekend. Supporters are asked to be seen and heard in Raheenagh and basically be the extra man that may be needed to get the lads over the line. Wear your colours and make plenty of noise is the message from the team and management.
The All-Ireland Final details are as follows: St. Martin's V St. Mary's on Sunday 14th March at 2pm in Raheenagh. St. Mary's team has given their supporters a fantastic year and at this final hurdle, we wish them only the very best of good luck. We look forward to seeing our army of Blue and White supporters in Raheenagh on Sunday to cheer on our Hurlers under the leadership of Gerry Molyneaux and his fellow selector Pat O'Donnell. The following are the 27 on the St. Mary's panel on this great occasion: Brian & Robert Byrnes, Patrick & Sean Sheahan, Timmy & Eoghan O'Connor along with their uncle James, Kevin & Sean O'Shea, Michael & Mark O'Sullivan, Patrick & Johnny Enright, Derry & Robert White along with William Coffey, Gerard Frawley, Damien Quaid, (Captain), Paul Hogan, Brian Duggan, Shane Hourigan, Keith Harnett, Jack Coleman, Gary Enright, Stephen Noonan, Padraig Jones and John O'Connor. All-Ireland Colleges VEC Football Final
Limerick VEC Colleges lost their all-Ireland Final against Leitrim in Ballinasloe last Saturday. Things didn't go Limericks way on the day and probably the ability to win possession at mid-field as the biggest difference between the 2 sides. Final score Limerick 1-08, Leitrim 0-15. Our club were represented on the Limerick team by Sean Sheahan, Stephen Power and Derrick Dillon. Well done to the three lads on being part of the team and commiserations on losing the final, but hopefully, all three will have learnt from the experience.

Limerick GAA Development Draw
Thanks to everyone who joined the draw for 2010. The club promoters were delighted and very appreciative of the kind receptions they got when they were out knocking on doors recently. The first draw for 2010 took place last Friday night in Mungret GAA Clubhouse. Unfortunately our club had no winners on the night. Hopefully we will have better luck next month when the draw takes place on Friday 9th April in Fr. Casey's GAA Club House.

Best wishes to County Under 21 Football Team
Every good wish to the Limerick Under 21 Football team who kick off their Munster campaign this Wednesday night 10th March in the Gaelic Grounds. The game will begin at 7.30pm under lights with Clare being the opposition. We wish every success to the three players starting on the team from Sean Finns, namely Damien Quaid, Patrick Sheahan and Eoghan O'Connor.
