Limerick manager Billy Lee has indicated that he is keen to remain at the helm, despite having a much publicised row with the county board.

The Shannonsiders campaign came to an end last weekend when as expected Mayo ran out comfortable winners in their All-Ireland SFC qualifier clash.

Now is the time for reflection and even though Lee and the county board had their issues during the year, the Newcastle West man is keen to carry on his work, once the players want him.

"I'm not going anywhere at this point in time. I'm around Limerick football for a long time and I don't see myself going anywhere," Lee told the Limerick Leader.

"We'll reflect over the summer, there's a management team and there's players and as I pointed out after the last game, it's what the players will want is what I'm interested to know and that's the key to it."
