Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Committee Meeting

There was a committee Meeting held in Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Clubhouse, in Dromcollogher, on Wednesday night and the following officers were elected on the night Children's Officer: Maria Cahill, Irish Officer: Mike Boyce, Health and Well-Being Officer: Suzanne Geary and the following Managers were appointed: Senior Football Mike Quaid, Tom McGarry, Eoin Barry, Intermediate Hurling: Tom McLoughlin, Pat McCarthy, Joe Daly, U21 Hurling: Tom O'Callaghan and Mike Barrett, Minor Football Mike Pierce, Cillian Fahy, Paddy Lordan and Tom Fitzgerald.

Well Done

To Limerick Senior Footballers Management Team led by Billy Lee (Newcastle West) and Limerick Senior Footballers led by Donal O'Sullivan (Monaleen) and especially our club players Garrett Noonan and Cillian Fahy, Limerick drew with London, on a scoreline of 2-8 each, Garrett scored a point, in the Allianz National Football League Division 4 Round 3.

Child Protection Course

The Dromcollogher/ Broadford GAA Club Child Protection Course will not go ahead as planned, this course has been postponed due to the death of Tom Costello (RIP) of Woodfield, Dromcollogher, this course will be held now on Wednesday March 21st, more details later.

Results of the 281st draw was postponed due to the death of Dan Carroll (RIP) of Gurteen, Number 10 of Plunkett, Dromcollogher, at later date, more details during the week.

To Carroll Family on death of Dan Carroll RIP of Gurteen, Number 10 of Plunkett, Dromcollogher in the presence of his loving family. Deeply mourned by his loving wife, Hannah, and children, Donal, Siobhan, Jack and Declan. Sadly missed by Sylvia, Sandra and James, grandchildren, Glen, Alex, Bobby, Zac and Cara, brothers and sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and his large circle of friends, especially Nellie. He was Reposed at Daly's Funeral Home, Dromcollogher on last night Tuesday the 13th of February from 6pm to 8pm. Arriving today at St. Bartholomew's Church, Dromcollogher on today Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm. Funeral afterwards to local cemetery, May Dan rest in peace.

 

To Costello Family on death Tom Costello of Woodfield, Dromcollogher Passed away peacefully at St. Catherine's Nursing Home, Newcastlewest on February 12th, 2018. Survived by his brothers: Larry, Dan, John, sisters: Mary (Glynn) and Hannah (Dawson), brothers in law, sisters in law, nephew, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Daly's Funeral Home, Dromcollogher on Thursday 15th February from 6.30pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass at St. Bartholomew's Church Friday at 12.30pm. Funeral afterwards to local cemetery.
