The Late John Joe Cassells Honourary president John Joe Cassells passed away following a short illness. John Joe played for Mohill for many years during the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s and gained a reputation as a very dedicated players and a tigerish and teak tough defender playing in a number of defensive positions on various Junior and Senior teams, while he also featured a full forward on a few occasions. Our very own "Gallant John Joe" was elected to the position of Honourary President a few years ago and at 85 years of age enjoyed a healthy life until a few short weeks ago.
