U13 Boys

U13 Boys Ballinamore SOH 4:08 Allen Gaels 3:10SOH U13 boys picked up their second win of the league campaign against Allen Gaels in the park on Tuesday . This was a highly entertaining game from start to finish with SOH racing into a 9 point lead before two Gaels goals before half time left only 5 in it at half time. The Gaels rallied well in the second half as they took a two point lead before the Ballinamore men rallied to steal it at the death by two points which was a cruel result on a gallant Gaels team. The SOH lads can take great pride in the way the fought back in the end. Hopefully our two star forwards Naoise and Liam are recovered in time for the next game. U14 boys FEILE

Hard luck to the U14 boys FEILE  team who lost the FEILE final to an excellent St Josephs side today at the Leitrim centre of excellence. Ballinamore overcame Annaduff in the semi final but fell at the final hurdle. Best of luck to St Josephs in the national finals where I'm sure they will be be worthy representatives Panel: Adam Kaminski , Kuba Kaminski,Akin Talabi , Killian Maguire, Eoin Hamill,Tommy Smith, Sam Cullen, Liam Reynolds, Paddy Wrynn,Dylan Reynolds, Paul Moran, Keelan Murphy,Eoin Connaughton, Oisin  McCarty, Fiachra McGrath, Mikey Reilly, Michael McKiernan, Gavin D'Arcy, Naoise McManus, Paul Honeyman, Danny O'Brien,

Well done to Jason Ralph New York, grandson of Andy and Mary Ralph Ballinamore and son of Pete. Jason won the prestiges golden gloves tournament in New York last night and is certainly a boxer to watch in the future, hopefully he can follow on from previous winners who graduated to the olympics.
The only question will be if it will be the green and gold or Stars and Stripes that Jason will be representing next !!!!
