Leitrim County Board secretary Attracta O'Reilly has revealed that their Centre of Excellence will open in January.

O'Reilly will confirm in her report to delegates at Monday night's convention that the long awaited facility will finally be open for use.

"With the volume of work that had to be completed in the training centre in Annaduff in 2015, we are now in a position to open the doors and fields to training the first week in January 2016," writes O'Reilly.

"The work completed includes re-seeding the two pitches, lights commissioned, finishing off the building, fences and groundworks are now near complete.

"I have to acknowledge the support and financial help from Croke Park for this venture."
