St Mary's justified favouritism to capture their fifth Leitrim SFC crown against Mohill in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada yesterday.
Micheal McWeeney opened the scoring for the winners in the 3rd minute and they led by 0-8 to 0-4 at the change of ends.
They extended their lead with three unanswered points at the start of the second half but Mohill were thrown a lifeline when Alan McLoughlin raised a green flag.
McLoughlin and Shane Quinn added points to reduce the deficit to two but Alan Doherty nipped their comeback in the bud with a St Mary's goal in the 46th minute.
In the closing stages, a point from Colm O'Reilly and a McWeeney goal wrapped up the win for St Mary's.
Ray Kennedy netted a consolation goal for the losing side on the stroke of full-time.
