Mohill

“I’m a Celeb” launch

The club is running I’m a Celeb as a fundraiser and the campaign will be launched in Lough Rynn Castle Hotel on Friday next April 26 at 8pm. We sincerely thank Ciaran Reidy and the owners of Lough Rynn Castle who continue to be our main sponsors and have been so generous to Mohill over many years. On Friday night the contestants will be introduced and presented with their gear. We are looking for co-operation with this big operation and we will expect a big turn out on that date when all will be revealed We expect every club member and supporter to attend and get behind these brave contestants. Entry is free.

Acorns stage Loophole as a fundraiser

The Acorn Players played to a full house in the lavishly refurbished Clarke’s Niteclub venue on Friday night last. Each performance of the comedy play Loophole gets better and better and the large audience last week enjoyed every minute. This was a fundraiser for Bridget Lupton/McKenna and Padraig McLoughlin both volunteers in Mohill GAA fundraiser “I’m a Celeb”. The takings were also shared by Mohill Basketball Club. We thank Trendy Cuts, Baxter’s Centra, Terry McConnell Veg Man, and Aga beautician for sponsoring the GAA entrants.
