County Final

Firstly, we congratulate the Aughawillan team and Management on becoming champions once again. As always they were gracious winners and we wish them well in the Connacht Club championship. It is always difficult to defend a title and this was just not Mohill’s day. It was sad for the team and Management as no stone was left unturned in preparation for the big day. We thank the players and mentors who travelled long distances at their own expense to train in central locations, hopefully they will gain from this experience and go from strength to strength. Ní neart go cur le chéile.

Jim Meehan RIP

The Cub extend condolences to the family of Jim Meehan who died last week.  Jim as a pleasant and cheerful man and a long serving officer of the County Board and his club Dromahaire. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh sé.
