Under 13, 15/aside Final

The Under 13s once more played St Marys in this final and although playing a wonderful game, were beaten by 3 points. There will be a report elsewhere in this paper.

Christy Clyne RIP

We extend deepest sympathy to the family of Christy Clyne who died last week. Christy played football in his youth and togged out alongside Packie McGarty, Eddie Rowley, Eddie Foley and many other notables as a schoolboy in 1956. He was a much loved postman for many years around Mohill. Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé.

Div 4

The third string played Kiltubrid at the weekend but were missing a few key players, this left them short of scoring power. Those present played their hearts out but Kiltubrid were the stronger team and won well in the end.
