ACFL Division 3, Stradbally 3-9 Courtwood 1-14.
ACFL Division 5, Courtwood 0-10 Ballyroan Abbey 0-7.

Our junior A team threw up a three point lead in injury time last Thursday week in Stradbally conceding a late goal and point to come away empty handed. Now fourth in the table, a win in the next game is vital to retain chances of a league semi final spot.
Junior C team on the other hand won a game they might well have lost had the visitors Ballyroan Abbey brought their shooting boots on last Tuesday night week.

The Canal 5K
Courtwood GAA's third annual 5K road race took place recently and on a beautiful day attracted a big turnout of runners who ran the scenic route, starting just below the club gates, past the Fishermans Inn, along the canal banks and back to the GAA grounds.
The men's top three was Colm Burke, John Fenlon and Aengus Burke with the first three women runners being Grace McConnell, Olivia Sheerin and Sinead Rigney. Well done to all!
A huge word of thanks to our friends in St Michael's AC, Portarlington who secured the AAI licence for the race and also helped greatly in the planning and routing of the race.
