Hurling top scorers: McManus leads the way

June 11, 2013

The tools of scoring
With two games under his belt, Antrim's Neil McManus heads the table in the hurling top scorers chart for championship 2013.

2-4 in the opening game against Westmeath followed by 0-5 against Laois sees McManus in the lead, with the O'Moore County's Stephen Maker in second place.

Having entered the championship at the weekend, Kilkenny Eoin Larkin and Limerick's Declan Hannon are already hot the heels of the leaders.

McManus is the top scorer from play ahead of Carlow's Craig Doyle, who scored 3-2 when introduced as a substitute against London and is as a result also the leading goal scorer so far.
