Manager shake-up continues

December 17, 2009
Former Laois hurler John Taylor will juggle his role with the Laois minors and The Harps following his appointment as manager of the club team. Taylor is already a selector with the county minor hurlers and has now decided to make a return to club management for the first time since he guided Colt to the IHC title in 2008. One of the biggest appointments yet has been that of Brian Whelehan taking over Camross as the Offaly legend begins his first serious steps into management. Kilcotton have also opted to sort out their managerial position before Christmas following the appointment of Des Rigney and he will be tasked with guiding the side in the senior hurling championship. Many clubs have retained the services of the men that have been in charge for the last year or so, but one side on the look out for a new manager is Rathdowney Errill after Paul Murphy left the club to return to his native Birr as manager.
