Laois manager Mike Quirke feels that there is no reason why his charges can’t add to their five points in FL2.

The win over Clare last Sunday saw the O’Moore County return to winning ways following their heavy defeat to Cavan the week before and more importantly keeps them in the hunt for promotion.

Quirke reveals in the Leinster Express that every team in the division is capable of taking points off the other, which has been the case so far.

“There’s a lot of good teams in this division so to get to five points is a good boost,” stated Quirke.

“We’ve still got three games to go so let’s see if we can push on and get a couple of more points, starting with Kildare at home next Saturday.”
