Three Down ladies footballers have been named on the Tesco Homegrown National League Division 3 Team of the League.

Emma Joyce (Bryansford), Sinead Fegan (Saval) and Clara Fitzpatrick (midfield) have been selected in goal, left half back and midfield respectively after helping the Mourne County to a dramatic comeback victory over Ulster rivals Armagh in the Division 3 final earlier this month.

The trio will receive their awards at a function in Croke Park next Thursday, May 30. Tweet
