Cork Ladies Football manager Eamonn Ryan rates his players higher than soccer stars David Beckham and John Terry.

Speaking after the Rebelettes won the 2013 Tesco Homegrown National League Division 1 title at Parnell Park on Saturday May 11, Ryan praised his players for their battling qualities.

'In the face of desperate adversity they kept on playing... we did some apalling shooting but in professional sport you see John Terry or David Beckham missing (chances) and they're on a couple of hundred grand a week, but these lads kept on doing the right thing and near the end the ball started to go over the bar'.
