Another day, another ladies football star signs for an AFLW club.
Joanne Doonan, who will captain Fermanagh in the All-Ireland junior final against Louth at Croke Park on September 15, has joined the Carlton Blues ahead of the 2020 AFLW season.
Carlton General Manager of Women’s Football Ash Brown said of the 25-year-old: "Joanne is a terrific character and she has proven that she is committed and ready to take on the challenge of AFLW.
"Combining her leadership with her elite athleticism, we are really excited about what Joanne will bring to our playing group."
