There are fears that Leitrim could withdraw from Division 3 of the Lidl Ladies Football National League after they conceded a walkover to Kildare in the first round.
The game was due to take place in Hawkfield on Sunday, but Leitrim are currently without a manager and aren't in a position to field. It remains to be seen if they will be able to fulfil their other Division 3 fixtures against Offaly, Wexford, Meath and Down.
Leitrim won an All-Ireland intermediate title in 2007, but their fortunes have clearly taken a nosedive since then.
