The late Tom Phelan Conahy lost one of it's great parishioners with the death of Tom Phelan, Tullowglass. Tom was an extremely popular man throughout the locality and was heavily involved in many local organisations, and indeed was a trustee of the GAA club. His funeral Mass took place in Jenkinstown Church followed by burial in Conahy cemetery. He is survived by his wife Feeney, son Eamonn and daughter in law Ellen, his brother Jim and sisters Mary and Nora, his grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
