All in O'Loughlin Gaels and indeed St. John's Parish and beyond were saddened to hear of the passing of Rena Sheridan last Tuesday 4th, at her home in Newpark, surrounded by her family, sons John, Stephen and Mark and daughters Ann Marie and Geraldine. She was predeceased by her husband (former O'Loughlin Gaels Juvenile Chairman and PRO) John Sheridan.
A member of the Grace family, she was sister to Angela, Nuala, Paddy, Mary, Ursula, Frankie, Terry and the late Richie, she will be sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in law, grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Rena along with Marie Fitzpatrick founded the O'Loughlin Gaels Camogie club just over twenty years ago . Last year during its twenty first (and most successful) year, Rena was on hand to present all the winning teams with their Championship medals. It was fitting that someone so instrumental in the organising of Camogie in St. John's Parish could experience the fruits of her labour on such a fantastic night, celebrating four championship successes.
