Michael Fennelly says even the mighty Kilkenny can't afford to get complacent.

Following their successful defence of the national hurling league crown, the inspirational former Hurler of the Year insists that the Cats will be caught out if they lose their focus for even one second:

"You are only as good as your last game but we won't get too carried away with this league win," he says in The Irish Sun

"Our fitness needs to be improved - even our touch, too. We will work on that because we have to.

"The talk last year was that it was going to be a huge contest against Dublin - but we blew them out of the water. They didn't get going at all last year.

"However Galway showed us two weeks later that you can't take your eye off the ball for one second.

"If you are off even 1% in any game you can be blown away, so concentration and focus is key."
