Kilkenny's Fennelly family won't forget the first weekend of May, 2013 in a hurry.

Brothers Michael and Colin were instrumental in the Cats' national hurling league final victory over Tipperary at Nowlan Park, the former delivering a Man of the Match display and the latter captaining the Black & Amber on the big day.

Two of their sisters also had a very special few days: on Bank Holiday Monday, Lorna Fennelly was crowned the Rose of Kilkenny and she will now go on to represent the county at the regional finals. Meanwhile, eldest sister Grace gave birth to a baby earlier in the week.
