The Late Ned Farrell Members and friends of Grangenolvan Football Club were saddened by the death of Ned Farrell of Foxhill. Ned was one of Grange's, strongest supporters for the last two decades. He had been a noted footballer himself with Moone during the sixties and seventies. Latterly Ned and his wife Josie followed the exploits of Grange, including his two sons Gerry and Eamonn, with pride and passion. Right through to his final days, his insight and support will hardly be rivalled again, and he will be sorely missed from the sidelines from both home and away games. The thoughts and prayers of Grange members are indeed with Josie, Gerry, Eamonn and his grandchildren and close relatives. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
