A five-goal blast helped Two Mile House to a famous All-Ireland club JFC final victory over Fuerty at Croke Park.

Three of the goals came in a devastating opening to the second half after the Kildare side had held a slender 2-3 to 0-8 lead at the break. Those goals effectively ended the game as a contest, although Fuerty didn't give up as Robbie Fallon pulled back a goal and veteran substitute Mervyn Connaughton was denied a second by the upright.

The winners got off to a dream start thanks to goals from Mark Sherry and Adam Burke. However, the Roscommon men hit back with seven unanswered points to take the lead before Two Mile House got their noses in front again just before half-time.

But the game was decided in the first 11 minutes of the second period when Burke, Sherry and Chris Healy all raised green flags.
