Our first team are down but certainly not out after losing to Johnstownbridge in the first round of the intermediate championship on a score line of 2-12 to 1-6. The lads and management have been putting in a great effort preparing for the championship but unfortunately things didn't go our way against a very strong JTB team. Scorers for castledermot were Paddy Mahon 1-3, Emmett O Keeffe 0-2 and Fionn O Gorman 0-1. Next up for the lads is Maynooth at home on Saturday 18th may and St kevins away on Saturday 25th may in the senior div 1 league

Juvenile
Well done to the under 9 and under 11 teams who continue to play brilliant football. Our under 9s travelled to Ballymore on Tuesday where they put in a great display of football. Our under 11s travelled to near neighbours Kilcullen on Thursday where they also played a very entertaining game and showed some great skill. Also well done to both Kilcullen and Ballymore for been excellent host's. The under 9 and under 11 leagues continue every Tuesday and Thursday evening. The under 6 and 8 teams hosted baltinglass on Saturday morning. Both teams kept the spectators entertained through out with great football and some wonderful scores. Training for under 6 up to under 12 will continue every Saturday. Texts will be sent to parents confirming times. Tweet
