Kildangan GAA Notes

SENIOR
Kildangan Seniors had no game last week because of the bank holiday, the back match against Monasterevin is fixed for 16h May in Monasterevin, throw in 7.30. The following Monday we play Sarsfields at home, again at 7.30

Juvenile
Kildangan Under 9s and Under 11s both started their league this week. The Under 9s made the short hop to Nurney where both sides produced a very entertaining display of football. The Under 11s played Ellistown on Thursday evening in Kildangan and again gave a great display of skill.

Upcoming Events
Kildangan Field day is set for Sunday 23 June. 10K and 5K run is on 15th September and will be available for registration on Run Ireland. More details will be released in the coming weeks.

Three Legged Race
Kildangan GAA participated in the Three Legged Race World which broke the World record, on last Monday. Great fun was had by all the adults and kids, additionally they raised some much needed funds for Kildangan GAA, well done to all!

Membership
Membership fees are a vital source of funding to the club. Membership fees are used by the club throughout the year to cover registration, insurance, referee fees, entry to championships and leagues and facilities maintenance.Additionally adult members get an opportunity to apply for All Ireland Tickets. Most importantly membership entitles you to a say in how the club is run. This year adult membership is just 30 euro, the date for applying for adult membership has been extended to 31st May. Club Focus
Kildangan GAA featured on KFMs club focus on Sunday. If you missed the broadcast it will be available on the Kildangan GAA and KFM websites in the coming days. The broadcast examined the history of Kildangan GAA, looked back over some Kildangan greats, examined the Kildangan Nurney Ladies football scene and also the background to Kildangan juvenile origins.

Cúchulainn Gaels
Cúchulainn Gaels Under 14s came a cropper against a much stronger St Laurences team on Wednesday evening, Next game is against Kilcock, set for Athgarvan, Wednesday at 7pm.
