Castledermot GAA once again would like to thank the generous people of Castledermot and everyone who came to support our Pig Racing Festival in aid of ST Lukes Cancer Hospital Dublin. Great fun was had by all with Face Painting, Music, good food, a few drinks, guess the pigs names and the main attraction the six little pigs racing. Also a big thank you to all our sponsors and the lads and ladies who helped to make this a success, without your help this would not have been possible. Days like these show what a great little town we live in.

Juvenile
Our under 9s got their league off to a great start with a win at home to Suncroft. Next up for the lads and girls is Ballymore away on Tuesday 14th at 7pm. our under 11s lost out to a very strong Suncroft team on Thursday 9th. The lads played some good football in the first half going in at the break ahead. Against a strong wind in the second and excellent football from the opposition the lads were not able to hold on to the lead and were unlucky to run out losers. Well done Suncroft. next up is Kilcullen away on Thursday 16th.Our under 14s lost the first round of the division 3 league to st Edwards. final score was castledermot 1-1 st Edwards 3-7 with both our scores coming from Dan Gray. The lads travel to Balyna on Wednesday 15th at 7pm.
