There was no winner of the Lotto Jackpot worth €3,150 on 5th January. The numbers drawn were 2, 11, 21 & 22. Congratulations to the €25 winners: Cribbin Family (Loughbollard), N Conboy, Niamh Cribbin & E King. The jackpot for Sunday 12th February is €3,300 and tickets cost €2.

Underage football & hurling training resumed last week for both boys & girls. The Tiny Tots football recommenced in the Scoil Mhuire Community School Hall on Sat 4th February at 10.30am and will continue every Saturday morning whilst the underage hurling is up in Clongowes on a Wednesday night - Underage managers will be in contact with the players. All new players are welcome to come down.

Need new playing gear for the start of the season: Club merchandise is available in the club shop on Thursday nights from 8pm & Saturday mornings from 11.30am. 10% discount on regular stock along with many special offers including some stock been sold at half price. Gift vouchers also available.

The competitive games for the Senior Footballers got underway on Saturday 11th February with the Conneff Cup Final taking place in Clane. The lads played Kilcock and a result can be seen on the website. The lads now play in the Aldridge Cup this coming Saturday 18th @ 2.15pm with the opponents & venue yet to be finalised. The teams in our group are County Champions Athy, Allenwood & Suncroft. The Minor footballers commenced their Division 1 against Kilcock on Sun 12th and their next game will be this coming Sunday 19th at 11.45am - opponents & venue on the fixture has yet to be released.



The following are the starting dates for the Bord na nOg competitions: U/14 Feile Football - Sunday 26th February, U/14 Feile Hurling - Sunday 18th March, U/16 Football league - Saturday 25th February, U/16 Hurling league - Wednesday 4th April.



At last week's meeting, the draws were made for the Feile competitions. In our group for the Feile A competition is Rathangan, St Laurences, & Carbury. Their A team's 1st game is at home to Larries with a 10.30am start. The B team are competing in the Feile E competition along with St Laurences, Moorefield & Sarsfields. Their first game is also at home against Moorefield on the 26th with a 10.30am start. The Feile Hurlers are competing in the Feile A Hurling competition and received a bye in the 1st round with the 2nd round game away to Naas on Wednesday 28th March.



All Club members are reminded that membership is now due for 2012. The following rates apply: Full Playing Membership €80, Full Membership €70, Family Membership €120, Juvenile €50, Social €35, Student/Apprentice €50. Remember if you are a player and have not paid by 31st March, you will not be covered by insurance. New members always welcome.

A second membership day will take place on Sunday 19th February from 12.30pm to 2pm. All players (underage & Senior) are requested to register on the day.
